Selena Gomez has shared her proud moment on Nicola Peltz Beckham’s directorial debut in the film Lola.

Taking to the Instagram story section, the Calm Down crooner shared the Deadline news piece that read the headline, “Vertical Lands North American Rights To Nicola Peltz Beckham’s Directorial Debut Lola”

She captioned the piece, “So proud of you bb”

Nicola Peltz Beckham directorial debut in 'Lola':

It is pertinent to mention that Vertical has secured the rights for Lola in North America. The movie was written, directed, and featuring The Last Airbender starlet.

The cast includes Virginia Madsen Trevor Long, Luke David Blumm Raven Goodwin Richie Merritt and Will Peltz

Peltz Beckham stated for her debut project, “After this five-year labor of love, it’s such an honor to be able to work with Vertical to share Lola, a heartfelt story of generational trauma, perseverance and unconditional love.”

Vertical is scheduled to be released on February 9, 2024.

She continued, “I have such respect and gratitude for the incredible cast and crew who I had the pleasure of being on this journey with. It takes a village and I love our village.”

For the unversed Gomez and Nicola publicly revealed their friendship in November 2022, marking the occasion during a viewing party to commemorate the release of Gomez's documentary, My Mind & Me.

Since then they have been joined at the hip, participating in various events together such as a Thanksgiving gathering and a trip to Mexico.

They've taken their friendship to the next level by even getting identical tattoos, showcasing the depth of their bond.

In May, Gomez conducted an interview with Peltz, Beckham, and Brooklyn for Gomez's Wondermind mental health content hub. During the conversation, Gomez shared that she finds fulfillment in being part of a "throuple" with the married couple.

"Selena, we love you so much, you have no idea," Peltz Beckham replied.

She continued, "I think we speak the same love language. We never really go out in L.A. We're always working or with the dogs. The best moments are just like when you don't have to do anything. You can just be with the people you love, and it makes me so happy, but I'm also such a homebody."
