Halle Berry talks about her friendship with co-star Angelina Jolie

Halle Berry talked about her friendship and work experience with Angelina Jolie in the upcoming movie Maude v Maude.

In an interview with Variety, Berry shared that while she and Angelina are excited to work together, they didn't always get along.

The Kidnap actress told the outlet, "we had a rocky start and I think that is going to serve us well in our screen time together, thrilled to work with another woman and craft a story with our sensibility and from our point of view, she is formidable."

She also hinted that the story behind their past conflict was a "good one"  but she didn't spill the details.

The 57-year-old actress further stated, "we’ve been talking a lot about divorces and exes, we bonded, let’s say that."

Furthermore, Berry also expressed that their friendship grew stronger over time, saying, "we bonded, let’s say that."

About upcoming movie 'Maude v Maude':

Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry are set to star in their upcoming action-thriller  Maude v Maude.

The film will be Berry's second directorial project, which she is also co-producing with Angelina.

In addition to this, the Kings actress described the movie as a mix of comedy, Mr & Mrs Smith, and Mission Impossible.

Berry also told the outlet that the film also includes both "physical and intellectual" fights between the two women, but is also heartwarming.

She further added, "It’s a love story at its core but it deals with the supernatural, time travel and the future."

Halle Berry  also revealed that the movie is still in the process of searching for the filming locations.
