Is Ariana Grande 'serious' in her relationship with Ethan Slater?

Ariana Grande has been making headlines for her connection with Ethan Slater, and intriguingly, reports suggest that their relationship is 'serious' and characterized by a 'very normal' dynamic.

According to a source reported by PEOPLE, there is a significant commitment between the 30-year-old singer and the 31-year old actor, who officially started dating in July.

The insider disclosed, "Ariana is serious with Ethan," adding, "She loves being with him."

It is also mentioned by a source that despite they "go out occasionally,” the couple "mostly enjoy staying in. It’s a very normal relationship.", especially as Ariana focuses on finalizing her upcoming album.

The source revealed, "They love to support each other in their work,” adding, "When she’s done with work, Ariana loves going to the theatre when she can."

It is pertinent to mention that over the weekend, the pair was captured in public for one of their initial outings together.

The 7 Rings crooner and Broadway performer were caught on camera during an evening in New York City, where a source close to Grande revealed to PEOPLE that they shared a meal with her father, Ed Butera, at her family’s preferred Italian restaurant before attending Slater's performance in Spamalot.

Grande donned an all-black ensemble, complete with a fuzzy bucket hat, a mini skirt, and a black top adorned with furry cuffs. 

In contrast, Slater opted for a sportier look, featuring a zip-up jacket, joggers, and running shoes.

The pair first encountered each other while working on the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked, sparking a romantic connection outside of the on-screen production.

PEOPLE confirmed Grande and Slater's relationship in July, marking the beginning of their connection following Grande's separation from husband Dalton Gomez and Slater's separation from wife Lilly Jay.

After two years of marriage, Grande and Gomez, 28, finalized their divorce in October.
