Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, released at the start of 2023, is causing a stir with potential long-lasting effects on his relationships.

In the 416-page book, Harry spills the beans on personal moments, including finding out about his mom Diana's death.

He reveals that when he needed comfort, his dad, King Charles, didn't offer a hug or shed a tear.

The book also talks about a 2019 clash with his brother William over Meghan. Harry claims William said Meghan was "difficult" and had alienated staff.

Things escalated to a physical altercation, with William allegedly grabbing Harry's collar.

Royal editor Russell Myers thinks the fallout from the memoir will stick around, affecting Harry's ties with his family.

He said, "Absolutely nobody was spared - excuse the pun - from his barbs in that book and I think we’ll still see the repercussions of that in the next year or two and whether Harry can sort of find a way back into the family remains to be seen."

The book spared no one, and Myers believes it'll take a year or two for Harry to patch things up.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle has been advised against sharing her side of the story in a book in 2024.

A PR expert suggests the timing might not be right for a tell-all, hinting that there could be a better time in the future.
