Khushi Kapoor shared that her father Boney Kapoor cried after watching her latest Netflix film The Archies, released on November 22, 2023.
During the latest episode of Koffee With Karan, Khushi who was presented as a guest alongside her sister Janhvi Kapoor, spilled details about the experience of auditioning for her debut movie.
She also revealed that her father became emotional and cried after watching her film.
The debutant actress said, “I had just come back from New York, and I had no intention of starting out at that point. so when I went and auditioned, I was fully shaking. It was the first office I went to, first audition I had ever given, so I was scared. She (Zoya) made it really easy for me though, she calmed me down. I was freaking out, but I think it went well.”

Khushi added that she “immediately started howling,” and “I knew I wanted to do this for the longest time. In that moment I felt, ‘Okay, now it is happening for me.’ It was with Zoya and was the most ideal situation for me and I got really emotional.”
When the 23-year-old actress unveiled about seeing her father cried after watching her film, the Dhadak actress snipped in and said, “He cried for three days!” on which Khushi said, “I would get random messages from him saying, ‘You are just so good beta.’ It was really cute and sweet!”
Janhvi also expressed how emotional it was for her to see Khushi act on screen.
She also mentioned that Khushi, like their late mother Sridevi, is a quiet person off-camera but transforms into a dynamic performer on screen.
