Grewig accepted the award along with other film producers and stars Margot Robbie, America Ferrera and Ryan Gosling.
While accepting the prestigious award, she said, “Thank you to everybody, all the Barbies and Kens in front of and behind the screen. It was the greatest, most joyful show of craftsmanship and passion I’ve ever seen.”

Last week, Margot candidly discussed her hit film during a conversation at The Hollywood Reporter's annual Actress Roundtable.
She shared, “I love physical comedy, and my favorite era of film is the ’30s, when it’s all head-to-toe acting. I love screwball comedies. But also, I wanted there to be an evolution between how she moved and spoke from the beginning of the film to the end of the film. You should be like, “Oh yeah, I’m looking at someone who’s being a doll.””
Greta’s Barbie emerged as the biggest blockbuster film of 2023, accumulating 1.442 billion USD globally.
