Prince Andrew faces fresh allegations as Virginia Giuffre raises new claims in Epstein case
Prince Andrew found himself in a new controversy after Virginia Giuffre fresh claims

Prince Andrew, who is currently in hot waters after the unsealed documents of the Epstein case, has faced another allegation from Virginia Giuffre as she claimed Jeffery Epstein paid her $15,000 to have sex with the disgraced prince.
In a recorded deposition in a Florida court in January 2016, Giuffre levelled the accusation. This occurred within the context of a legal case where she was not a direct participant. The lawsuit, brought against former Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz by her attorneys Bradley J. Edwards and Paul G. Cassell, involved her as a non-party.
According to legal records acquired by PEOPLE magazine, Giuffre was queried about receiving a payment from “10 to $15,000 by or on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein for having sex with Prince Andrew?” during the year 2011.
She responded, discussing the distinction between British and American currency, “Yes, I did receive $15,000. I don't know what equivalent that is to pounds. I received it in American dollars.”
Giuffre was questioned about whether she paid taxes on the funds, and she responded in the negative.

Prince Andrew has consistently refuted any allegations of misconduct.
Giuffre has recounted a previous encounter with Prince Andrew, stating that it occurred at Ghislaine Maxwell's London residence when she was 17. Maxwell, who has denied the accusations, is presently serving a 20-year prison term for her involvement in sex trafficking alongside Epstein.
The disgraced financier passed away while awaiting trial on federal conspiracy and sex trafficking charges in 2019.
She previously alleged she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York three times between 1999 and 2002 in London, New York and on a private Caribbean island owned by Epstein. It was not clear which instance she referred to regarding the $15,000 payment.
