Kate Is In A Coma After Surgery Gone Wrong
One of the more startling theories circulating the internet is the one suggesting Kate underwent some form of abdominal surgery and is recovering from it in a coma—medically induced or otherwise. The absence of any official statement from the palace during her recovery period only added to the speculation of her being “hidden.”
Kate Is A Deep fake or Body Double Now
The internet detectives had a field day during the early 2024 period where the “new” Kate went missing for a period of time and later appeared in a video that many claimed was “off.” The suspicions of public interaction being replaced by AI footage or lookalike came from the over scrutiny of blinks, smiles, and any other gestures that were made during appearances.
She’s In Hiding After A Royal Split
Kate is once again at the centre of one of the more persistent rumours of late. This time suggesting the reason for her disappearance was for “hiding” and that her public divorce from Prince William was a result of the rumoured affair he was having with Rose Hanbury, a former friend of Kate’s.

This is one of the more darker theories suggesting Kate is a Royal that intended to expose the monarchy for scandalous secrets and is therefore held hostage by the institution, “The Firm,” or “The Firm” as it is often termed. This theory has strong supporting parallels with Diana and thus fuels more distrust toward the palace.
The Real Kate Middleton Is Dead
Among the most extreme and troubling theories, some suggest that Kate suffered from some sort of health complication and the Palace was hiding the fact until a substitute could be found or some story could be created. Absurd as it sounds, hashtags like #WhereIsKate gained traction across the globe.
