Sharon Osbourne talked about the dark chapter in her life as she revealed her suicide attempt following the discovery of husband Ozzy Osbourne's affair.
Speaking during her London show, Sharon Osbourne: Cut The Crap, the 71-year-old TV personality shared the emotional turmoil she experienced, expressing the profound impact of Ozzy's infidelity.
Osbourne recounted taking an overdose and isolating herself in a locked bedroom, where she was found by a maid.
"So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom, the maid tried to come in to clean room and saw me," she said.
She highlighted the heightened emotional investment when details of the affair become personal, going beyond the usual understanding of celebrity life.
"He always, always had groupies and I was so used to that, But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work ... it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills," she revealed as reported by Mirror.

The couple, who have been married since 1982, faced a publicized crisis in 2016 when reports of Ozzy's four-year affair surfaced.
The revelation led to a temporary separation, with Ozzy seeking treatment for sex addiction.
Despite the challenging period, they reconciled, renewing their vows in 2017 and celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2022.
Osbourne also shared earlier, "Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning."
