“‘How long do you want me to expletive live for?! At best, I’ve got 10 years left and when you’re older, time picks up speed,'” he responded to his wife.

He also told the magazine that he doesn’t “fear dying” but does not want to “have a long, painful and miserable existence.”

The 74-year-old has an assisted suicide pact in place with Sharon adding to the profile interview, “I like the idea that if you have a terminal illness, you can go to a place in Switzerland and get it done quickly.”

About Ozzy's health crisis:

The English singer and songwriter was diagnosed with the  degenerative disorder of the nervous system, Parkinson’s disease back in 2003 but did not reveal it until 2020.

His health took a major toll on his life after a operation he underwent in June 2022. He had his fourth spinal surgery to heal the damage he suffered from a 2019 fall.

“I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a expletive rod in my spine. They found a tumor in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out too,” he told Rolling Stone UK.

The fall had affected the metal rods that were inserted in his body after a bike crash he had endured in 2003.

While discussing how the series of surgeries had been so hard on him, he added, “It’s really knocked me about, the second surgery went drastically wrong and virtually left me crippled.”
