American Ferrera reminisced about her first Sundance Film Festival experience in 2002.

As per PEOPLE report, the festival holds a special place in Ferrera's heart as it marked the debut of her breakout film, Real Women Have Curves, which went on to win a jury prize.

For the End of Watch actress, it was not just a professional milestone but also a personal adventure, being the first time she encountered real winter.

The Los Angeles native admits to being starstruck by the snow, sharing a humorous incident where she stuck her bare hand in a pile of snow, immediately regretting the decision.

"I was most starstruck by the snow, I didn't know how to behave. I stuck my bare hand in a pile of snow and immediately regretted it," she said.

The festival's snowy backdrop provided a unique and enchanting setting for Ferrera's introduction to the film industry.
