Robert Downey Jr. credits coffee for part of his sanity, describing it as family and home
Robert Downey Jr. launched his own coffee company, Happy in collaboration with entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky.
In a recent Instagram reel, the Iron Man star engaged in a playful word association game, responding to the prompt "happy" with various coffee names, showcasing his humor and passion for the beverage.
He captioned the reel with, "Coffee makes me Happy. Happy makes my coffee."
The coffee venture, developed over two years, offers a range of products, including whole beans, ground coffee, instant coffee, and K-cup-compatible pods.
As per PEOPLE report, Downey Jr., who credits coffee for part of his sanity, expressed his deep connection with the beverage, describing it as family and home.
He said, "I roll out of bed, I hit my knees. I have one of several prayers, usually of gratitude or just being like, ‘Please let me stay out of my way.’ And then I roll downstairs for coffee, I credit coffee, in part, for my sanity."
The actor, known for his multitasking abilities, has entered the coffee market with a mission to add joy to the industry.
The Happy coffee blends are available in light, medium, and dark roasts, featuring unique flavor profiles such as cacao and contentment, notes of cashew and elation, and toasted biscotti and levity.

Downey Jr. emphasized that the company aimed to avoid snobbishness and create an inclusive and joyful coffee experience for everyone.
He reminisced about the association of morning coffee with family, particularly his mom getting ready to drive him to school.
"To me, it is family, It is home. I associate that morning coffee with my mom, getting ready to drive me to school. You want to talk about ‘mother's little helper’ back in the '60s and '70s, it's the unsung hero of proper parenting," he shared.
