Ariana Grande rejoiced her bestie Victoria Monet’s 2024 Grammy award win, who bagged the honour for Best New Artist.

“My friend, you deserve this one million times over @victoriamonet !!!! i am so deeply proud of and happy for you there are no words,” began the Eternal Sunshine crooner in her celebratory post for the On My Mama singer.
Ariana continued, “you have worked so hard and given so much of yourself to this industry for so, so long while quietly being in your absolute own league. we've talked about this happening since the day we met and over many tour bus sleepovers.”
The Stuck With You songstress added, “it is the greatest joy to see the goodness you have poured into others, into your collaborators (i am so incredibly lucky to be one of them) over the years pouring right back into you. happy does not begin to cover it. this is your expletive MOMENT!!!!!!!.”
Victoria Monét bagged the award as Best New Artist, outshining Emily King, Babyface, Coco Jones, and Summer Walker, who were nominated in the same category.

Monét in her emotional speech, while receiving the honour expressed gratitude towards the champagne servers and the voting members of the Recording Academy.
She also turned emotional while reflecting on her success’ journey, "Thank you to my mom, a single mom raising this really bad girl. Thank you so much. I just want to say to everybody who has a dream, I want you to look at this as an example. Thank you God."
"This award was a 15-year pursuit. I moved to LA in 2009. And I like to liken myself to a plant who was planted and you can look at the music industry as soil and it can look to be looked at as dirty or can be looked at as a source of nutrients and water,” added the Moment crooner.
She said, “And my roots have been growing underneath ground unseen for so long. And I feel like today I'm sprouting finally above ground."
