Beyoncé is adding another venture to her already impressive repertoire as she has teased the launch of her upcoming haircare brand, Cécred.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Halo crooner announced that she will be releasing her new line, CÉCRED, on February 20.
“Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb 20. Visit CECRED.COM,” she wrote in the caption of the post, Beyoncé didn't provide much additional information about the beauty line.
To commemorate the occasion, the Grammys winner shared a nostalgic video clip showing scenes from her mother Tina Knowles' Headliners salon in Houston, Texas, which Tina opened in 1990.
The footage also featured Beyoncé and several individuals getting their hair styled.
As she unveiled the news, her legion of devoted fans wasted no time flooding the comments section with unbridled excitement.
One wrote, “Whatever it is I’ll buy all of it!”
The other showed the anticipation for new album, “We got Cé Noir, now Cé Cred…are we still getting the Cé Live album/dvd & Cé visuals?”
While another noted, “Yonce girl my pockets are tired!! But I’ll figure it out per usual”
In May of the previous year, Beyoncé hinted at the imminent launch of a haircare collection.
She posted a three-part carousel on Instagram, featuring a snapshot of herself styling her natural curls in front of a mirror, along with a caption explaining the significance behind the upcoming beauty brand.
“How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” the “CUFF IT” singer wrote.
She added, “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women.”
Beyoncé continued, “Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
