Katy Perry has took the internet by storm with amazing head bang to split a marble into two, in the promo of the upcoming season of The American Idol.

The Dark Horses singer, who has been fuelling fans' excitement for the upcoming season of the abc Network's reality show, sent her Instagram followers into frenzy by sharing a action-packed video of herself from the set of The American Idol.

In the video, Katy Perry could be seen standing in front of a girl, who was holding a white marble from both her hands, Perry then uses a hand gesture, pretending to mark the mid point.

However, Perry leaves her fans and the audience in awe of her strength, when she broke the tile in two with a heroic head bang.

Soon after the Harley in Hawaii crooner offered a glimpse into her crazy stunt, fans could not contain their excitement expressing their reaction in the comments section.

One fan wrote, "Ouch! Looks like your headbanging skills are on point, Katy! Hope you're okay though!."

While another quipped, "I see a new Karate Kid movie coming. "Karate Kid: Sensei of Song and Strike."

"Katy Perry, you have a lot of power, girl," noted a third.

This video comes over the heels of another promotional post of The American Idol's upcoming season, with a catchy caption that read, "EAST COAST it’s time for you to choose your player… I choose 16 year old me busking at the farmers market for a 20 and some avocados,(see slide 4) - tune in to #idol on @abcnetwork now for all the feels."
