Millie Bobby Brown recently talked about how her fiancé Jake Bongiovi proposed her underwater.

During her appearance at The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the Stranger Things actress detailed the 'story' of Jake proposing her.

She said, “basically, Jake and I bonded over diving. We love diving, we got our diving licenses together.”

The Enola Holmes actress revealed that while they were on vacation together, one day Jake asked her to wake up at 8:00 am to go on dive to the ‘same spot they usually go.’

As they went to diving, ‘many meters underwater,’ she said, “he gives me like a shell and I like turn it over and it’s a ring.”

Raising the thumbs up she said, “this means, ‘up,’ ‘I want to go up.’ So that would technically mean, ‘No, I don’t want to marry you, I want to go up.”

Then she did an 'okay' hand symbol, the actress added, “and I think it was underwhelming but we freaked out.”

“Anyways he puts the ring on my hand and as I go to show him the ring falls off my finger, plummets like so fast, it was like a cinematic movie, Jake threw himself, like so deep, like the diver was like, ‘You can’t do that, like your ears ... literally your brain will explode,’ he did a cinematic grab, opens and he saved the ring.” she said.

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi got engaged in April 2023.
