Meghan Markle won the legal battle against her half-sister Samantha Markle.

As per PEOPLE report, U.S. District Attorney Judge dismissed Samantha's defamation lawsuit with prejudice.

The lawsuit, centered on allegations that Meghan defamed Samantha in various interviews, including her high-profile CBS interview with Oprah Winfrey, was dismissed by Judge Charlene Honeywell due to Samantha's failure to produce evidence supporting her claims.

In the court documents filed on Tuesday, Judge Honeywell stated that Samantha's allegations merely suggested a disagreement with Duchess of Sussex’s opinions rather than statements of fact.

Meghan's attorney, Michael J Kump, expressed satisfaction with the court's ruling, emphasizing Meghan's stance against the claims.

As per reports, Samantha had initially sought $75,000 in damages from Meghan for defamation.

The dismissal of the lawsuit with prejudice means that Samantha Markle cannot refile the case.

The ruling underscores Meghan's resilience and determination as she navigates life outside the royal family.

Meghan, who is married to Prince Harry, has been involved in various legal battles in recent years, often related to privacy and media intrusion.
