Reneé Rapp has spoken out against fans who question her sexuality.

In a recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Rapp expressed frustration, stating, “if I say I’m a lesbian I am a lesbian and if someone says they’re bi they are bi I’ve had enough of you witches.”

This comes after the Mean Girls star previously identified as bisexual but has now been referring to herself as a lesbian in interviews.

In a February cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, she opened up about her evolving understanding of her sexuality, stating, “I’ve only recently started referring to myself as a lesbian, and I’ve only recently been in a relationship where I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m a lesbian for sure.'”

She added, “I’m watching all these movies and parts of gay culture, specifically lesbian culture, and I’m like, ‘I love this.'”

Rapp's public acknowledgment of her sexuality coincides with her red carpet debut at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party with her girlfriend, Towa Bird, a Hong Kong-born musician.

The couple has been seen together frequently, including during Rapp's Snow Hard Feelings Tour.
