Parineeti Chopra expressed her gratitude for latest project, musical drama Amar Singh Chamkila.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the actress posted series of photos alongside her co-actor, Diljit Dosanjh.

In the caption, the actress penned a heartfelt note thanking the team.

Chopra wrote, "I’m immensely thankful for Chamkila."

Praising director Imtiaz Ali, Parineeti added, "@imtiazaliofficial sir, your direction was unparalleled; you truly led the ship with finesse. Your vision and passion set a new standard."

She praised her 'perfect' co-star Diljit further, stating, "@diljitdosanjh, you were the perfect co-star, making every moment on set enjoyable and effortless."

"@arrahman sir, being musically directed by you - a thing of dreams. And the entire team who made this film," Parineeti continued.

The actress highlighted her excitement at being able to both act and sing in the film, stating, "Shooting this film has topped off any other film because I got to sing and act - 2 things I’m the most passionate about, so thank you."

The film, scheduled to release on Netflix on April 12, is the life story of Amar Singh Chamkila.

Amar Singh Chamkila, portrayed by Diljit Singh, was once a little-known singer in Punjab, achieved meteoric fame and became a music sensation.

Alongside Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra plays the role of Amarjot, Chamkila’s wife and musical partner.
