Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez actively listing home to sell
Josh Flagg revealed Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's choice to publicly sell their estate
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez want to sell their house quickly as they are serious about their choice.
Bennifer placed their Beverly Hills castle up for sale a day later for $68 million, which they paid for the home in May 2023.
The celebrity realtor Josh Flagg revealed the potential motivation for the couple's choice to publicly offer their estate, according to PEOPLE.
He said the asking price is "quite close to what they paid for it," which "means they really want to move the property."
"With that said, I’m also going to take [a guess] that they’re not going to walk out of this making money. They’re going to either break even or take a small loss," Flagg noted.
He also shared that "generally, people do not sell their primary residence a year after they buy it unless there is a divorce, a death, or some kind of desperation."
Furthermore, he claimed that the stories now circulating about the pair during their turbulent marriage will not deter a buyer.
Notably, an insider told the site that there was "very little initial interest" from potential buyers in the 38,000-square-foot house, which boasts 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and other amenities including a fully equipped fitness facility and sports centre.
"After privately showing the house for a few weeks, they had very little interest. Publicly listing it was the next natural step," the source shared.
Lopez and Affleck started living separately in May.
