Adele announced her big break from her music career
Adele has left fans in anticipation over her decision to take a big break from her music career.
Before her multi-day engagement in Munich, the Send My Love singer chatted with German network ZDF.
When asked if she planned to follow up her 2021 smash with a new album soon, Adele stated that her "tank is quite empty" because of the exhaustion she felt during her lengthy tour.
“I don’t have any plans for new music at all,” she confirmed.
Adele continued, “I want a big break after all this and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while.”
The Easy On Me songstress also mentioned in her interview, “You know, I don’t even sing at home at all. How strange is that?”
It should be noted that Adele has previously told her fans that they will have to wait a long time for her fifth album.
She reportedly told the audience at a January Weekends with Adele performance in Las Vegas that she didn't think she would "write an album for quite some time."
