Justin Timberlake lawyer asserts singer was sober at time of DWI arrest
Justin Timberlake was 'not under the influence' at the time of his DWI arrest

Justin Timberlake's attorney argued that he was 'not under the influence' at the time of his DWI arrest.
According to the Daily Mail, the Friends With Benefit legal representative, Edward Burke, stated to journalists outside the courthouse on Friday, "He was not inebriated. I want to emphasize, Justin Timberlake was not inebriated."
The lawyer claimed, "The police made a number of very significant errors in this case,” adding, "In court today, you heard the district attorney try to fix one of those errors. But that's just one and there are many others. Sometimes the police make mistakes and this is just one of those instances."
Moreover, the attorney stated that the prosecution should drop the case because they failed to "get a superior officer's signature on the initial charging papers."
Notably, on June 18 Timberlake was arrested by the authorities in Sag Harbour, New York.
Following that, he was given two penalties for skipping a stop sign and failing to stay in his automobile lane, and he was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated (DWI).
