Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan first sparked relationship rumours in December 2023
Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan, who have been romantically together for more than a year, have chosen to end their relationship because of their divergent priorities and hectic schedules.
The Batman star and the Espresso crooner have chosen to split up for the time being, according to a source who spoke to PEOPLE.
"They are both young and career-focused, so they've decided to take a break," said the insider of Keoghan, 32, and Carpenter, 25.
However, neither of their representatives quickly responded to the report.
To note, the couple first sparked relationship rumours when they were seen dining together in Los Angeles at the beginning of December 2023.
They first crossed paths at a Givenchy event during Paris Fashion Week in September.
Additionally, Keoghan appeared in the June music video for Carpenter's song "Please Please Please."
Speaking with Tracy Smith of CBS Sunday Morning in October, Carpenter said that she utilised her "not-even-biased opinion" in her video. She also acknowledged that having Keoghan at her side undoubtedly made things simpler.
"I was like, 'Who's the greatest actor that I can find for this music video?' And he was next to me in a chair,” Carpenter said.
She added, “And he was so excited about it.”
