Country star LeAnn Rimes has shared an update on her health after being forced to postpone additional tour dates due to ongoing vocal issues linked to severe laryngitis following a COVID-19 infection.

The 43-year-old singer revealed that she has been advised by doctors to rest her voice after undergoing medical evaluations, including a scope of her vocal cords.

The condition has already led to the rescheduling of multiple concerts on her current tour.

In a message shared on her Instagram Story, Rimes expressed deep regret over the disruption, writing that the decision to postpone shows was “out of my hands” and driven by medical necessity.

She added that it “breaks my heart” to delay performances, emphasizing how much she had been looking forward to connecting with fans.

The latest changes affect upcoming shows in Waukegan, Illinois and Wilmington, Ohio, which have now been rescheduled for November 6 and 7.

Tickets for the original dates will remain valid, while refunds are available for fans unable to attend the new schedule.

The news follows an earlier announcement earlier in the week, when Rimes postponed concerts in Spokane, Washington and Seattle due to what she described as “severe illness,” later confirmed to be complications stemming from COVID-19.

In her update, the singer reassured fans that she is focused on recovery and hopes to return to the stage soon, thanking them for their patience and continued support.

The “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” hitmaker also recently opened up about personal challenges at home, revealing that she and her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, marked their 15th wedding anniversary during an emotionally difficult period.

The couple, who married in 2011, described their anniversary as a mix of gratitude and emotional strain, noting family-related stress alongside moments of reflection and appreciation.

Despite the challenges, both expressed continued commitment to their relationship and support for one another.
