Andrew Garfield’s iconic movie from 2010 gets praise from Quentin Tarantino
Andrew Garfield’s iconic movie from 2010 only has a limited number of days left to be watched on Amazon Prime.
The triple Oscar-winning film, The Social Network will be axed from the streaming giant on Monday, March 24, making it the last day for fans to watch their favourite movie.
Directed by filmmaker David Fincher, the biographical drama movie which has garnered several awards such as Academy Awards for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Editing, and Best Original Score, alongside five other nominations, will unfortunately no longer be available to stream on Prime soon.
The film presents a fictionalised version of how the social media site Facebook came to be.
Also starring Jesse Eisenberg as the lead, playing Mark Zuckerberg, the drama film follows his character of a tech genius who starts building a social networking site specifically for his Harvard University friends.
He is supported by his friend Eduardo Saverin, played by Andrew, after which the project instantly takes off and gains popularity.
In 2020, the film was labeled as the top film of 2010s by Quentin Tarantino, as he said during French cinema magazine Premiere, "It is number one because it's the best, that's all! It crushes all the competition."
