Harry and Meghan risk losing Netflix deal over plummeting value?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may lose lucrative deal with Netflix over doubts about couple’s ‘value for money’

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are the current Netflix darlings but will they remain so for long?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a profitable deal of £80 million with the streaming giant in 2020 following their withdrawal from official royal duties.
As the deal comes to a contractual close in 2025, TV insiders have weighed in that it might not be renewed due to the Sussex’ projects with Netflix not gaining enough momentum.
The couple has produced five projects in total, which include the docuseries Harry and Meghan, Heart of Invictus, and the latest lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan.
All but two of these projects have failed to feature in the top 10 ranking on the streaming platform.
Harry and Meghan and With Love, Meghan remain the only two which have climbed up the rankings ladder.
One TV insider has shared with The Sun that while Netflix have felt “broadly satisfied” with the material, the reality of the situation is closing in on them.
“It’s now a question of whether they feel that striking another deal represents value for money, or if they feel that they have explored all the opportunities they can with the couple,” the source has revealed.
Meghan’s lifestyle show has also met with considerably unfavourable reviews following its premiere.
Neither the royal couple nor Netflix have released any statement regarding the ordeal as of yet.
