With each new release, Taylor Russell cements her reputation as one of the most promising new stars in the Hollywood for her lifelike character portrayals and astonishing versatility.

 The 30-year-old  has proved her mettle with various movies and shows, both indies and bigger franchises, and it speaks volumes to her talent. Here are some Harry Styles former partner's performances you wouldn’t want to miss.

Waves (2019)

In Waves, directed by Trey Edward Shultz, Russell starred in one of her career's emotionally draining dramas of her career as Emily, a teenager grappling with self-acceptance and family problems. This role marks Russell’s one of the breakout performances. 

Lost in Space (2018 - 2021)

The sensational actress got featured in the movie which  got released on Netflix, She played the role of Judy Robinson, one of the children of Robinson.

This show is both a family saga and sci-fi thrill and Russell’s role gives a much-needed emotional touch. 

Escape Room (2019)

In Escape Room, Russell stars   Zoey, a college student who ends up ensnared in increasingly complex mazes .

The Hunger Games : The Ballad of  Songbirds and Snake (2023)

In this prequel, Russell stars in a critical role and is expected to earn tremendous recognition post-release. 

Despite the film's reluctance to reveal any details about her character, it is certain that she will be appreciated for her skill on an international level. With this film, she will certainly achieve even greater success than she already has.

Down a Dark Hall (2018)

The nature of her character Kit Russell includes a more complex portrayal of a sad teenager romantically suspected to somehow be involved with the dark boarding school that has a complex story all on its own. 

In kit’s case, she becomes the classic “outturned” character, ideal for a psychological horror film. 

Words on Bathroom Walls (2020)

Maya played by Russell highlights the journey of accepting and diagnosing schizophrenia. Amongst other characters, the teen struggles with himself and is very well played Charlie Plummer.

 Wonderful performances by both bring major depth to the film, making it one filled with emotional roller coaster and enhance along the themes of mental health and self-acceptance. Russell proves through this portrait, reflecting her restraint and grounded self, that she excels in quieter character  dramas.
