Nikki Glaser revealed that she won’t be interested in traveling to space after the recent backlash Blue Origin faced for sending an all-female crew into space.

For the unversed, Blue Origin launched its New Shepard rocket, marking the first time a women-only crew has traveled to space in more than 60 years.

Glaser spoke to E! News on Thursday, April 24, after being named on the TIME100 Most Influential People of 2025.

The comedian cracked a joke saying that her next step is to go to "space."

"Just kidding, no, no, I do not want to go to space," Glaser immediately clarified.

She went on explaining the outlet that "Not only because of the backlash I will face, but I just have no interest in going to space."

Glaser shared that she was content with where she’s standing in her career after having a busy and rewarding year, which prominently included hosting the 2025 Golden Globes.

"I want to enjoy the riches of my success. I think I’ve been just trying to maintain it, like 'don’t go away,' and I haven’t, like, really enjoyed any of it, like you’re just trying to keep it," she shared. "I want to relax and let it in a bit."

To note, Katy Perry, Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, and Kerianne Flynn were the celebrities that were sent to space for roughly 10 minutes.
