A source close to the Aquaman actress dished out that she indeed wants to make a “splashy comeback”, however, she's raising eyebrows at the same time.

While shedding further light on it, the insider claimed that Heard “insists on calling the shots” and “being a producer” like Depp has been.

According to the, the Rum Diary star is making all kinds of pitches, but it's not turning out the way she expected.

“It's becoming frustrating for her,” the tipster tipped, adding, “She reinvented herself in Spain, and she's happy with her life there.”

However, as per them, the mother of one wants to go to the “next step and make her own money, her own way”.

The source stated that the Never Back Down actress' representative denied she was encountering obstacles in pursuing opportunities.

“But there is no doubt Depp, who denied abusing her, seems to be everywhere,” it mentioned.

To note, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp controversy revolves around a 2022’s defamation lawsuit where the Pirates of the Caribbean actor sued the actress for defamation over an op-ed she wrote in 2018, in which she described herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse”.

The final verdict of the case went in favour of Depp, making it a legal victory for the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor.
