Meghan Markle goes viral for her reaction to Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress

Meghan Markle’s fairytale wedding to Prince Harry was reevaluated in the wake of the infamous bridesmaid scandal.

After the couple got hitched, it was revealed in the years which followed that the Duchess of Sussex allegedly got into a conflict with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton over the bridesmaids dress worn by her daughter, Princess Charlotte.

However, that same dress produced a very different public reaction from the former actress during her actual wedding, as witnessed in a clip which has now gone viral.

The description for the clip with more than three million  views read: “Meghan bowing her head in respect as Princess Charlotte passes.”

Meghan’s sweet moment with a younger Charlotte was posted on the platform a few days after the Duchess’ seventh wedding anniversary, which she celebrated earlier this month.

Meanwhile, the “bridesmaid row” which allegedly occurred on her wedding day involved Prince Harry’s bride getting into an argument with the Princess of Wales.

According to the account, the Duchess believed that the bridesmaids’ dresses should have been better altered, including the one worn by Princess Charlotte, an argument which reportedly left Prince William’s wife in tears.

Though in his memoir Spare, the Duke of Sussex defended his wife as he claimed that it was her who was left “on the floor sobbing”, pertaining to the row.

A claim which the 43-year-old Duchess also echoed during her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey back in 2021.

Meghan Markle married Prince Harry at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018, though they subsequently moved away from the royal family following a tense estrangement within.
