Disney’s latest reboot branded officially a ‘flop’
Disney’s latest reboot film becomes box-office bomb

Disney’s latest reboot has officially become the company’s worst-performing live-action remake.
The movie is none other than Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot stater movie, Snow White, which was released on March 21, 2025.
Made on budget of $240–270 million, the 2025 remake of the original 1937 movie could only earned $200 million worldwide.
According to the film’s page on IMDB.com, the movie is “officially a flop” as its earnings are “miles behind its massive $410 million total cost” which also included marketing, production, and other items.
Moreover, the site also called the film’s disappointing performance “a financial blow” which few expected to be this severe, especially with the losses already estimated at over $115 million, as per Collider.
Fox News Digital reached out to Disney for comment on Snow White’s box office numbers, but did not immediately receive a response.
The movie garnered quite attention and stirred controversy even before its release regarding its colour-blind casting, main changes to the plot, and the reimagining of the Seven Dwarfs.
Later, Zegler's biased opinion about the original movie’s storyline led to calls for boycotts for both, the actress and the movie.
Directed by Marc Webb, Snow White apart from Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, also stars Seven Dwarfs and a rogue bandit Snow White remake.
