Ana de Armas shares desire to start family amid romance rumours with Tom Cruise

Ana de Armas is seemingly ready to embark on the journey of motherhood "soon" amid the ongoing dating speculations with the Mission: Impossible superstar, Tom Cruise.

In a candid conversation with F Magazine, the 37-year-old actress shared her desire of starting a family but admitted that the decision is not only hers to make as "relationships can’t be controlled."

The Ballerina starlet revealed that she felt an "immense protective instinct toward children, because they are defenseless and innocent beings who need adults to feel safe."

However, when asked about the possibility of having her own one day, she insisted that it was "not just up to me," stressing that "love is unpredictable."

"Yes, I'd like to have children and a family, soon if possible. But it's not just up to me," de Armas mentioned.

The Deep Water actress added, "As we know, love is unpredictable; you never know when true love will arrive. Relationships can't be controlled: life isn't a movie."

It is to be noted that before rumours of romance with Tom Cruise surfaced, Ana de Armas was in a nearly year-long relationship with Ben Affleck.

The former couple parted ways in January 2021, reportedly due to opposing values on having children.
