Nicolas Cage makes shocking admission about romance with Sarah Jessica Parker

Nicolas Cage has made shocking claims after Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed that she dated the veteran actor over three decades ago.

In a candid conversation on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, the 60-year-old actress revealed that she dated the 61-year-old actor.

"Um, yes I did," the Sex and The City alum said, confirming the long-standing rumours of a romance between herself and Cage.

However, in a recent development, the Longlegs actor told E! News that the actress and producer  left him without any closure after introducing him to her mother.

"I cared about Sarah, but I don't think I passed the Mom test," he told the publication.

"I recall sitting down with her and her mother for dinner at the Russian Tea Room, and I don't know if it was my blue Vanson Leather motorcycle jacket (which I still have) or my sinusitis, but I didn't hear from her again," he added.

For the unversed, the former couple starred in the 1992 rom-com Honeymoon in Vegas as an on-screen couple.

As of now, Nicolas Cage is currently married to Riko Shibata, while Sarah Jessica Parker is married to Matthew Broderick.
