Ana de Armas’ ex-boyfriend emerges amid romance with Tom Cruise

Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise have made several headlines this year for their rumoured romance, as none of the two stars have confirmed their relationship despite multiple joint appearances here and there.

However, a source has claimed that officially, the Ballerina star is reportedly enjoying her single life since split with a high profile Cuban figure.

A Cuban native herself, the 37-year-old actress was previously in a relationship with Anido Cuesta, who is the stepson of Cuba’s president, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.

Last time the Cuban couple was spotted together in public was in December 2024, while they were in Spain.

Incidentally, the Knives Out alum was spotted with the 63-year-old actor in Spain recently as well, where the two lounged on a yacht near the coast of Menorca. 

Furthermore, the Oscar-nominated actress is currently gearing up for her first screen collaboration with her rumoured beau.

Despite the rumours of a romance between the two, the insider told PEOPLE that the Hollywood pair “appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends.”

While regarding their planned film project, the tipster dished, “Tom is crazy hardworking and she’s very excited to work with him. She calls it an opportunity of a lifetime.”

Notably, Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise are reportedly looking to work together on Deeper, a deep-sea thriller to be directed by Doug Liman.
