Prince William set to face tough royal competition at Euro final
Prince William will join Spanish royals at England’s Euro final clash with Spain

Prince William has been confirmed to be travelling for this Sunday’s Women’s Euro final between England and Spain.
Following Kensington Palace’s confirmation however, it has now been revealed that members of the Spanish monarchy will also be present to witness the clash between the two nations who are often competing against each other.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain are expected to arrive in Switzerland, just as the Prince of Wales.
Though, whether the British heir apparent will be accompanied by any of his three children or the Spanish King and Queen will bring along their two daughters remains to be seen.
Notably, England and Spain have faced off in two previous finals, played in quick succession with each other.
In 2023, the English and Spanish women’s teams clashed in the World Cup final, while their male counterparts squared up against each other in Men’s Euro final in 2024.
Notably, Spain won both of the finals , defeating England 1-0 in the World Cup and 2-1 at the Euro.
Nevertheless, Prince William congratulated England’s Lionesses on their semi final victory against Italy, and is set to attend their final Euro match after missing the 2023 World Cup final.
