Epstein scandal continues to haunt Prince Andrew despite King's Balmoral invite
Andrew has kept a low profile since being forced out of royal life over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein

Prince Andrew could be heading to Balmoral this summer, despite his ongoing exile from royal duties.
According to the Daily Mail’s Ephraim Hardcastle column, the Duke of York has been named on the guest list for King Charles’ annual Scottish retreat, sparking speculation over a rare appearance alongside senior royals.
The King traditionally spends his summer holiday at Balmoral in Aberdeenshire, where the family attend church services and the Crathie Highland Games.
Andrew has kept a low profile, spending much of his time at Royal Lodge since being forced out of royal life over his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. His ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice reportedly visit him from time to time.
Despite the possible Balmoral invite, sources told the Mail that King Charles has made it clear Andrew is not to return to public royal duties.
Reports suggest Andrew has been left “chipper” after Donald Trump and his officials dismissed the existence of the so-called “Epstein list” which Andrew reportedly feared could contain his name.
However, the controversy hasn’t gone away, and the prince’s “anxiety continues,” according to the column.
Adding to his troubles, Andrew has been warned to be “extremely fearful” of what Ghislaine Maxwell may tell US investigators.
She is said to have now agreed to speak with officials in hopes of negotiating her release, after previously refusing to cooperate.
Andrew stepped back from royal duties in 2019 and was stripped of his honorary military titles and royal patronages in 2022, following a civil sexual assault case brought by Virginia Giuffre.
