'Gen V' season 2 brings Ethan Slater, Erin Moriarty onboard

Gen V surprises fans with major star additions to its cast for its second season.

The latest Comic-Con trailer for the new installment of the spinoff of Prime Video’s hit superhero series The Boys welcomed some familiar faces to the Godolkin University.

It seems like Erin Moriarty is crossing over to Gen V as Starlight, and it is suspected that Nathan Mitchell’s Black Noir will join her as well, based on their striking presence in the trailer. 

The Wicked star Ethan Slater will also be stepping into the world of Gen V as Thomas Godolkin, the founder of the superhero school.

Fans got the exciting news and the brand new trailer at San Diego Comic Con on Friday, July 25, 2025. 

The superhero action/comedy is already packed with a star-studded cast which includes Patrick Schwarzenegger, Lizzie Broadway, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann, Alexander Calvert and more.

However, it seems like not everyone will be returning to the show from season one.

Fans reportedly won’t be seeing the White Lotus actor Patrick in the upcoming installment of the American satirical superhero television series.
