Brad Pitt earns praise by 'Fury' costar Logan Lerman: 'We became friends'

Brad Pitt has won the heart of his Fury costar Logan Lerman as the 33-year-old actor recently gushed over the 61-year-old star.

In a candid conversation with PEOPLE magazine, the Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters actor recalled his first time meeting the F1 star.

"I met Brad when I was a little kid as a fan at a restaurant. He was in full leather pants, leather button-up, just the coolest-looking person I’d ever seen in my life," Lerman fondly reminisced.

He continued, "Then we worked together and became friends. It’s nice when you meet people you admire and they are not fussy and particular."

"They just want to make something great. I’ve worked with some people, who shall remain nameless, that aren’t like that," the The Perks of Being a Wallflower actor added.

Pitt and Lerman starred in Fury, which was released in 2014. The star-studded cast also featured Alicia von Rittberg, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Bernthal, Christina Wolfe, and Jason Isaacs.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Oh, Hi! performer revealed that not everybody he encountered in his acting career was supportive, some were even "obnoxious."

Lerman pointed out, "I will not [name them], but wouldn’t it be fun if I just started bashing all the obnoxious people I’ve worked with?"

Towards the end, Logan Lerman once again praised Brad Pitt, remarking, "Brad was so giving. You’re just like, 'What the hell?' And he’s humble."
