For everyone be it a high profile celebrity or an ordinary person, becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest joys, but the journey to get there isn’t always simple.
The dream of having children for some of the stars, came true via surrogacy. From Kim Kardashian, honoring her surrogate, to Anderson Cooper calling the experience “an extraordinary blessing,” these stars have openly shared their emotional and inspiring journeys to parenthood.
Here are some of the top celebrities who welcomed children through surrogacy:
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West:

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West who are now separated, turned to surrogacy for their third and fourth children.
This decision came after Kim suffered dangerous complications in earlier pregnancies. Their daughter Chicago was born in 2018, followed by son Psalm in 2019.
Kardashian shared on her website, “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give.”
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson:

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson welcomed a baby boy via surrogate in August 2022.
Kardashian's representative shared to PEOPLE, “She is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.”
However, the couple got separated in 2022, and the two decided to co-parent their kids,"just like they do with True, Khloé will co-parent the baby with Tristan. Tristan is the dad and Khloé wants him involved as much as possible. He is great with True," an insider told the same outlet.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra:

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Copra shocked fans in January 2022 when they revealed they had welcomed daughter Malti via surrogate.
“When the time is right, it will happen,” Chopra had once told PEOPLE, and the time finally came.
Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade:

Gabrielle Union and NBA star Dwyane Wade struggled to conceive for years. The two, welcomed daughter Kaavia James via surrogate in November 2018.
Union admitted she initially felt she was “surrendering to failure” but later embraced the process. She even chose a surrogate who loved reading, hoping her daughter would inherit the same passion.
Andy Cohen:

Andy Cohen, an American TV host, became a dad in February 2019 when his son Benjamin was born via surrogate. In 2022, his daughter Lucy arrived the same way.
“Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way),” Cohen wrote on Instagram.
Paris Hilton and Carter Reum:

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum announced the birth of their first child via surrogate.
The Simple Life star told PEOPLE, “It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other.”
She also shared a sweet Instagram post, writing, “You are already loved beyond words.”
Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton:

After a long fertility journey, Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton announced the birth of their son, Ever James, via surrogate in August 2022.
“Our baby boy is here and we are so in love! If you have followed our love story… you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging - But God is true to His word and His promises. We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months," she shared in her emotional post.
