Surprising times celebrities weren't afraid to confess their crushes publicly
Check out when celebs shocked fans with bold love confessions

Despite the pressure of the spotlight, some celebrities openly confess their feelings for fellow stars. Here are a few who did just that:
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had to work hard to end up as Taylor Swift’s fiancé.
In 2023, Travis Kelce attended the Blank Space hitmaker’s Eras Tour where she performed at Arrowhead Stadium, with a solid plan to meet her—but it sadly didn't go his way.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he explained on his New Heights podcast.
The NFL player further shared that, alongside the bracelet, he also wanted to give Taylor his phone number, but the plan miserably failed.
Travis added, "She doesn’t meet anybody—or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”
Now, the couple have been dating for almost two years and are engaged!
Drake and Rihanna

Drake publicly declared his love for Rihanna while presenting the Video Vanguard Award at the 2016 VMAs.
“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,” the God’s Plan crooner confessed.
Right after the Diamonds songstress gave her acceptance speech, Drake went in for a kiss, but she dodged, allowing him to kiss her cheek instead.
Years later, Rihanna was apparently not impressed by the Canadian rapper’s gesture.
“Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don;t like to be put on blast… We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either,” she told Vogue in 2018.
Jack Harlow and Dua Lipa

Jack Harlow made headlines in 2022 with a song inspired by his crush on the Levitating hitmaker, titled Dua Lipa.
In the chorus, the lyrics are, “Dua Lipa, I’, tryna do more with her than do a feature.”
However, Dua was aware of the song as Jack FaceTimed her, played it for her, and gave her the option to accept or reject it.
In an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Jack told the hosts that he truly admires Dua, adding that now the conversations with her are “less awkward” after the song.
