From acne and vitiligo to psoriasis and eczema, many stars have chosen to be transparent about their conditions to raise awareness.

Here are some Hollywood names who have spoken candidly about their skin journeys:

Kim Kardashian

Over the years, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has spoken about her experiences with psoriatic arthritis.

"If you have psoriasis, you can't let it ruin your life or get the best of you. You have to do what you can to make sure you are comfortable but not let it take over," Kim wrote in an essay for her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s site.

Justin Bieber

The Sorry crooner has been very open about his journey with acne for several years. Justin has never been hesitant to share pictures of himself with pimples.

In recent years, he has also credited his wife, Hailey Bieber, with helping him achieve clearer skin.

Winnie Harlow

The model was diagnosed with vitiligo (a condition that causes skin to lose pigment) at age 4.

Winne has made sure that her skin condition doesn’t stop her from paving her way into the world of fashion.

"Growing up, I never saw anyone like me on TV, billboards, or on the runways," she told PEOPLE.

However, the Marc Jacobs model shared that she has received immense love and support from people telling her that she inspires them.

Jessica Simpson

The Irresistible songstress has a lifelong struggle with eczema, which worsened significantly after giving birth to her youngest daughter in 2019.

Jessica has discussed her experiences, mentioning that she used skincare and a prescription ointment for relief.

“I'm open about my insecurities and my flaws, and if I can help inspire anybody to feel better about themselves, that's why I'm here,” she told PEOPLE.

Jada Pinkett Smith

The actress has a skin condition known as alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that causes the immune system to attack hair follicles, leading to hair loss.

Jada has been open about her diagnosis and struggles with the condition, which first gained public attention after the infamous encounter at the 2022 Oscars.
