The newly-wed singer long before her engagement to Benny Blanco stated that she will not change her name after marriage because it is inextricably tied to her identity, career, and personal brand.
According to Gomez believes that personal identity and remaining true to oneself are more important than traditional customs, saying, "I'm not changing my name no matter what. I am Selena Gomez. That's it".
Drew Barrymore
Known for maintaining her name through two marriages, Barrymore has not changed her last name because she wants to maintain her professional identity, and simply avoiding the hassle of changing documents.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas
The actress, who has worked in both Hollywood and Bollywood, did not completely change her name but added her husband Nick Jonas's surname to her own, to honour both her family traditions and her personal identity.
