Most anticipated movies releasing in October 2025

Gear up for one of the best releases this October so far.

From Kiss of the Spider Woman to After the Hunt; here are the five most anticipated movies releasing this month:

1. Kiss of the Spider Woman

The musical drama movie is based on the stage musical by Fred Ebb, Terrence McNally, and John Kander.

The Jennifer Lopez, Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, and Tony Dovolani follows the story of Valentín, a political prisoner, who shares a cell with Molina, a window dresser convicted of public indecency.

The two form an unlikely bond as Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite silver screen diva, Ingrid Luna.

Kiss of the Spider Woman is set to be released theatrically on October 10, 2025.

2. After the Hunt

The psychological thriller movie Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, Chloë Sevigny, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

The Luca Guadagnino directional follows the story of a college professor named Alma caught in between a sexual abuse accusation involving one of her students and a colleague.

After the Hunt is scheduled to be released on October 10, 2025.

3. Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

The biographical musical drama film is based on the 2023 book Deliver Me from Nowhere by Warren Zanes.

The movie stars Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen in the biographical movie.

Apart from White, the movie also stars Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, David Krumholtz, Gaby Hoffmann, and Marc Maron.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is set to be released on October 24, 2025.

4. Bugonia

Bugonia is an English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet! by Jang Joon-hwan.

The satirical science fiction black comedy stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone.

The movie follows two young men who kidnap a powerful CEO, suspecting that she is secretly an alien who wants to destroy Earth.

Bugonia is scheduled to be theatrically released on October 24, 2025.

5. Good Fortune

The supernatural comedy film stars Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Keke Palmer, and Sandra Oh in the film.

The movie follows an angel named Gabriel, whose failed attempt to show a struggling man, that money doesn't solve one's problems by body swapping him with his wealthy employer. 

This chaotic switch results in Gabriel losing his wings, while the work he did as an angel begins to unravel around them.

Good Fortune is scheduled to be released on October 17, 2025.
