Charlie Puth and Brooke Sansone expecting first child in sweet new song announcement

Charlie Puth and his wife, Brooke Puth (formerly Brooke Sansone), have shared some exciting news as they’re expecting their first child.

The couple, who tied the knot last September, revealed the happy update at the end of Puth’s new music video for his single Changes.

In the claymation-style video, the two are seen smiling as they place their hands on Brooke’s stomach, confirming the pregnancy in a touching moment.

The announcement beautifully connects with the lyrics of Changes, in which the 33-year-old singer reflects on how his life and outlook have evolved as “There’s been some changes / in our lives.”

He sings: “I can feel the distance / Space and time / Made everything different / Day and night / Everything has changed now / Don’t know why.”

Before releasing the song, Puth hinted on Instagram that it would give fans a glimpse into his personal life.

He wrote, the single would help “bring all of you into the most beautiful, colourful part of my life, which happens to be right now,” adding, “You will soon know why…”

This joyful news comes a little over a year after the couple got married following two years of dating.

At the time, the Attention singer shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, writing, “I love you, Brooke… I always have. With you I am my very best.”

He added, “I promise I’ll love you everyday in this life, and even more when we move on to our next, Brooke Ashley Sansone, and now you’ll be Brooke Ashley Puth. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive. It has always been you.”

Changes is the first single from Charlie Puth’s upcoming fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever, set to release on March 6 next year, nearly four years after his self-titled 2022 album.
