Megan Thee Stallion was rushed to hospital on Tuesday, after falling ill during her performance in Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

A spokesperson for the Broadway production confirmed that the rapper began feeling unwell during the evening show and was promptly transported to a local facility.

"During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated," the statement read.

The production team promised to share additional updates as information becomes available. Adding to the concern, the artist’s hairstylist, Kellon Deryck, took to X to ask for public support. "Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital," Deryck shared with his followers.

The "Savage" rapper recently made her historic Broadway debut as Zidler, beginning a strictly limited eight-week engagement at the Al Hirshfeld Theatre on 24 March.

Expressing her excitement for the role in February, she noted: "Broadway demands a different level of discipline, preparation and storytelling, but I’m up for the challenge."

Producer Carmen Pavlovic described the casting as a "farewell gift" to audiences, featuring hints of the star's iconic musical catalogue. Megan Thee Stallion, who has previously won multiple Grammy Awards, was scheduled to continue her run until 17 May 2026.

Fans and colleagues now await news on her condition as medical professionals continue their evaluation. It remains unclear how this medical emergency will affect the remaining performances of the show’s final celebrations.
