Alec and Hilaria Baldwin's 9-year-old son, Leo, experienced a frightening event that required a hospital visit.
Hilaria posted a carousel of photos from their family's beach vacation on Instagram, mentioning that her family joined her after a business trip, although she didn't reveal the location.
The images showed Leo on a hospital bed with his forehead being attended to, in a wheelchair, and presenting his bandages from a cut above his left eyebrow.
Hilaria captioned her post, "Trigger warning: Leo split his forehead open and we received excellent care at the hospital. So thankful for the warmth and support."
"Apart from that, it's been all about the beach, family time, and trying to walk like," she added. "Made some wonderful memories. Missed them so much it ached."
Hilaria also posted videos of her family having a good time at the beach, including one featuring Alec, 67, wading in the ocean.
Hilaria, 42, mentioned she was heading off on a work trip on March 8, acknowledging the difficulty of being away from her husband and their seven children — sons Rafael, 10, Leo, Romeo, 7, and Eduardo, 5, and daughters Carmen, 12, Ilaria, 3, and María Lucía, 4.
"Today marks the start of my exciting work trip, which I'm so thankful for. However, my heart aches because I'm leaving all my little ones at home ," she expressed. "My children asked how many hugs and kisses would be enough: I explained there’s no number that stops us from missing each other daily."
"But we'll chat every day and count down until we're together again," she said.
"I cherish these little ones so much and am trying to balance work and motherhood. It's tough, isn't it? Love you all."
In January, Hilaria demonstrated she's a protective mother when she defended Carmen against critics who claimed the preteen's outfit was not age-appropriate.
She claimed the criticiers might be envious of no longer being in the "prime" phase of womanhood, entering the "older lady" stage of life.
