The real shocking reason behind the breakup of Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas has been revealed.

It’s worth mentioning here that the actors, who will soon star in Doug Liman's sci-fi action movie Deeper, reportedly broke off their relationship after realising they're better off as friends, according to PEOPLE.

Now, a source told US Weekly that between the two, who actually ended the relationship.

While dishing out, the source noted that it was none other than the Ballerina actress’ decision.

According to the source, the Blonde performer allegedly felt "uncomfortable" with the Mission Impossible actor’s fast pace.

"Things were moving fast and she started to get a little uncomfortable with how fast it was going," the insider revealed, adding that the 37-year-old actress, as a result, had to “put the brakes on" the relationship.

However, the same source maintained that Armas "still likes” Cruise a lot.

In the end, the source added that both actors want to remain friends, but she needed to take a step back.

The duo’s romance reportedly started while “training the intense underwater sequences”. Moreover, they “spent every day together”.

On work front, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas starrer Deeper has no official release date.
