Tom Cruise, Ana de Armas' sudden split impacts their first movie together

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have not only been hit by a setback in their personal lives but also in their professional lives amid breakup buzz.

According to Dailymail, the 63-year-old actor and the 37-year-old actress’s new movie Deeper, has reportedly faced delays following the duo’s recent breakup, despite rehearsals already taking place in London.

Internet personality Daniel Richtman revealed that the film production has been paused due to U.S. President Donald Trump's ongoing tariffs on the film industry.

The Commander-in-Chief announced last month a 100% tariff on any movies produced abroad, including in Britain.

It is important to mention that the Mission: Impossible star and the Ballerina star quietly broke up after nine months, as US Weekly reported that it was “Ana’s decision.”

“Things were moving fast and she started to get a little uncomfortable with how fast it was going,” the source revealed.

Ana “put the brakes on” but “still likes [Cruise] a lot” the source added, sharing the two have “undeniable chemistry.”

Their romance allegedly sparked as they “spent every day together” preparing for the demanding underwater scenes in Deeper.

“It started as a deep professional respect and then it ignited. Tom was completely captivated by Ana,” the tipster tattled.

To note, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas were first spotted together back in February of this year in London.
