Halsey’s concert sparks outrage after shocking onstage incident
Halsey faces disturbing act on stage as fans react with anger
Halsey’s fans were left horrified after a disturbing incident at her Washington, D.C. concert last week.
The Grammy-nominated singer was performing her song Is There Somewhere at The Anthem on November 4 when a fan reached up her leather skirt and groped her.
In a video from the show, the 31-year-old can be seen standing on the front barrier, singing to the crowd when an audience member’s hand touched her thigh and then slipped under her skirt, touch her.
A security guard quickly intervened, hitting the fan’s hand away. Halsey appeared unaware of what had happened and continued performing.
The incident sparked outrage on social media as one fan account on X shared the clip, writing, “I can’t even believe i have to say this. Respect Halsey and DO NOT touch her or anyone like this without their consent. You people are unbelievable.”
“F—ing GROSS,” one user replied, while another wrote, “Oh that made me sick to my stomach.” Others expressed similar disgust, calling the act “disgusting” and demanding that the person be “banned from ever attending a Halsey show again.”
The Without Me singer, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, is currently on her Back to Badlands Tour which began in Los Angeles on October 14 and will end in Melbourne, Australia, on February 20.
Recently, Halsey was hospitalised in Boston due to a “minor medical emergency” but assured fans she was fine, writing, “Minor medical emergency but I am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! but if I’m pacing myself, that’s why!”
