The director Tara spent two days interviewing the 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' star in France
Tara Wood, who is the director of four-part docuseries Tim Burton: Life in the Line, interviewed Johnny Depp on his decades-long friendship with Tim Burton.
The director told People that spent two days interviewing the Pirates Of The Caribbean star in France, where Depp spoke for nearly four hours about the filmmaker who has worked with him much of his career.
"I wish everybody could meet Johnny Depp, because that's another one, you can't explain Johnny Depp to anybody," Wood stated.
"You walk in, and first of all, he's so disarming and kind that you're immediately at ease. He was very open. I think Tim Burton is his favorite topic, so he was very willing to (chat)."
About their conversation, she revealed that the 62-year-old actor "shared a lot."
"That's why I'm really happy to be releasing independently, because the bonus material, we could have done a documentary on just Tim and Johnny," she playfully remarked.
Continuing, "There's so many interesting things about their relationship and why they are friends and how deep their friendship is."
Depp appears alongside fellow Burton favorites Michael Keaton, Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, and Helena Bonham Carter in the docuseries Life in the Line.
